Since our founding, TFHE has been committed to its mission to identify, understand, and address the Education Achievement Gap through innovation and collaboration.

TFHE Highlights

Keynote Speaker - Luis Valdez at LVLA Commendation Ceremony 2025

Luis Valdez Leadership Academy was presented with a City Commendation by San Jose Councilmember Bien Doan, a California State Resolution by Senator Dave Cortese, a Commendation by County Supervisor Cindy Chavez, and a California Legislative Certificate of Recognition by Assemblymember Ash Kalra.

Each recognition highlighted LVLA's efforts towards closing the achievement gap, and demonstrating exemplary overall performance in English Language Arts and Math!

Additionally, Luis Valdez provided a keynote address during LVLA's Commendation Celebration. Named after the legendary playwright, screenwriter, and film director, LVLA honors his legacy by inspiring students to embrace leadership and creativity in their educational journeys. During his keynote address, Valdez addressed the importance of education, community involvement, and being civically engaged.

We are so honored to be recognized by great local, county, and state leaders. Thank you all for your support and for celebrating these accomplishments alongside our LVLA Community!
