The Foundation for Hispanic Education: Providing Quality Education through Innovation and Collaboration
In 1981, The Foundation for Hispanic Education was established with a vision of providing scholars a quality education and support for all underserved learners.
Our Mission: The Foundation for Hispanic Education is committed to serving all students all students, particularly those from historically disadvantaged backgrounds, by eliminating opportunity gaps through innovation and collaboration in preparation for leadership and success.
Today, our foundation serves over 1,000 students and their families from various community neighborhoods of East San Jose by operating three public charter high schools: Latino College Preparatory Academy, Luis Valdez Leadership Academy, and B. Roberto Cruz Leadership Academy.
