With our focus on well-rounded educational programs, Latino College Preparatory Academy (LCPA) fills a unique niche. We provide time and focus for our public charter high school students -- to reach the academic level of English Language Arts and Mathematics that is critical for post secondary educational opportunities, academic achievement, and passing standardized tests. 


LCPA enhances all students’ chances of succeeding academically and completing a college degree with our innovative curriculum, capable faculty, and nurturing environment.  LCPA is a highly sought after educational environment, providing public education for each and every student in grades 9-12; especially English Language Learners.

  • 90% of LCPA students graduate in four years  
  • 85% of our students place at a college of their choice (two-year and four-year universities and colleges)

Highest Graduation Requirements in the State!

LCPA has the highest graduation requirements in the state, setting high standards and exciting expectations.  All LCPA students will complete 220 credits including the University of California system’s entrance requirements, commonly called the A-G requirements, in order to earn an LCPA high school diploma. 


“A-G” requires students take a rigorous course of study,  including three years of college preparatory Math through Algebra II, three years of college preparatory Science, including two lab Sciences, and two years of a Foreign Language.


Our 9-12th grade electives include PE, Advisory, Digital Media and Multimedia Tech. Our AP courses, free Early University-Dual Credit, Summer Math Initiative, and Special Education programs ensure every student is supported on their unique learning journey.
